Refund policy

Updated: 1 October 2026

This policy applies to orders placed with Julien Gimfeld, a self-employed sole proprietor trading as Jul & Myra. The terms accepted for an earlier order continue to apply to that order, including where they provided a 30-day return period.

Exercise my right of withdrawal / request a return or cancellation online

Telephone: +41 22 335 92 87.

1. Change-of-mind returns

For purchases governed by Swiss law, we do not grant a change-of-mind return or exchange right, except for a specific written commitment or an applicable statutory right. We may consider a request individually without an obligation to accept it.

Consumers protected by European Union, European Economic Area or United Kingdom law have the statutory withdrawal right described below. Mandatory local rights apply in other countries. These rules never limit remedies for defective, non-conforming or undelivered products.

2. Statutory withdrawal: notice and return

Where this right applies, you may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days after you, or a third party you designate other than the carrier, receive the product. For several products in one order delivered separately, the period begins when the last product is received. Statutory rules for calculating and extending deadlines apply.

Before the deadline expires, send an unambiguous statement to julandmyra@gmail.com or Julien Gimfeld — Jul & Myra, Rue Émile Yung 11, 1205 Geneva, Switzerland. If possible, identify the order number and relevant products. The form below is optional. Exercising this right does not require our prior approval.

Send the products back within 14 days after your withdrawal notice to the address above unless we provide another return address without disadvantaging you. Do not send them directly to the print studio without instructions. Keep proof of dispatch.

You bear direct return-shipping costs where these were validly disclosed before purchase. We do not charge a restocking fee. No return cost is imposed where prohibited by law, including because of insufficient pre-contract information.

Pack products carefully to prevent damage. Original packaging is recommended but is not an absolute condition of statutory withdrawal. You may inspect goods as you would in a shop. Diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning may be deducted only under the conditions permitted by law.

3. Refund following withdrawal

We reimburse the amounts due within 14 days after being informed of your withdrawal. Where legally permitted, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Withdrawal from the whole order includes reimbursement of the original delivery charge corresponding to the least expensive standard method offered. The supplement for a more expensive delivery method chosen by the customer is not reimbursed. Delivery costs for partial withdrawal are handled under applicable law.

Refunds use the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed, without a refund fee for the customer. Bank posting times do not extend our statutory deadline to issue the refund.

4. Personalised products and exclusions

Statutory withdrawal may be excluded for a product genuinely made to individual specifications or clearly personalised only where the legal exception applies and was disclosed before purchase. Printing a catalogue artwork on demand, or selecting a standard size or frame, is not by itself treated as personalisation excluding withdrawal.

A sale or price reduction does not remove statutory consumer rights. None of these exclusions affects remedies for defects or non-conformity.

5. Damaged, incorrect or defective products

Contact julandmyra@gmail.com with the order details and a description of the problem. Photographs of the product and packaging help, but are not required where they cannot reasonably be supplied. For purchases governed by Swiss law, notify defects immediately after discovering them; elsewhere, applicable statutory deadlines remain protected.

We arrange the remedy required by law: repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the applicable conditions. Necessary return costs for a justified defect or non-conformity claim are borne by Jul & Myra. Change-of-mind return periods do not limit statutory guarantees.

6. Online requests and cancellation before dispatch

Open your customer account using the order’s email address, select the order and the available return or cancellation action, identify the items and confirm your request. Shopify sends an email acknowledgement. You may also notify withdrawal by email or post, including if a technical problem prevents an online request.

For the Europe and Canada market, online cancellation requests remain available until an item is fulfilled, and return requests for 14 days after delivery of the last item, with the statutory extension where the last day is a weekend or public holiday. Submitting a request does not remove statutory eligibility conditions or automatically trigger a refund.

For other markets, an online request for voluntary cancellation is available for 15 minutes after ordering; after this, contact us promptly. A voluntary change or cancellation depends on preparation or production progress. No technical window or missing button reduces applicable statutory rights, including remedies for defects, delays or non-delivery.
